Our club strives to provide the best coaching and player development opportunities in northern Indiana for your player.  In order to do this, we must enlist every parent to commit to the following:

  1. HONOR THE GAME:    I understand the importance of setting a good example for my player.   I will show respect for all involved in the game including coaches, players, opponents and opposing fans.  I understand referees make mistakes but I will Honor the Game and remain silent!  I understand my behavior reflects on our club's reputation at all games and tournaments.  I pledge to be a good host when teams travel to our fields.
  2. ENCOURAGEMENT:  I pledge to use positive encouragement for our athletes because they are doing their best.  I understand that the game is for the players and I will keep sports in the proper perspective.
  3. BE ON TIME:  I understand that practices are mandatory.  I pledge to get my player to practices and games on time with the proper equipment needed.  I also pledge that I, or my player, will notify the coach at the earliest opportunity when he/she cannot attend a practice or game.
  4. ONE VOICE:  I pledge to refrain from instructing players from the sideline.  I understand that this is the coach's job.  I agree to stay away from the players' bench at all times unless instructed by the coach.
  5. RESPECT THE COACH:  I pledge to refrain from making negative comments about my player's coach in my player's presence.  I understand that there are many different styles of coaching and my player can benefit from this.
  6. VOLUNTEER:  I understand that as a parent I must commit to at least one four-hour shift (per player) for the Memorial Day Invitational tournament.  I also understand that it takes many volunteers to make the club run smoothly and if I have talents and time to share, I will get involved.
