Nick Swaim Selected as the next Director of Coaching at Jr. Irish Soccer Club

Nick Swaim becomes the Director of Coaching for the Jr. Irish Soccer Club 

South Bend, Indiana

The Jr. Irish Soccer Club is pleased to introduce Nick Swaim as the new Director of Coaching for the Jr. Irish Soccer Club.    

Nick has been involved in club soccer for over 20 years and has vast experience in the Indiana soccer scene. As the Director of Coaching at the Indianapolis Premier Soccer Club, he doubled the size of the club, as well built a winning culture that yielded two Indiana State Cup Champions in 2014.  In June of 2014, Nick orchestrated a large club merger involving Indianapolis Premier Soccer club, Fishers Soccer Club, and Noblesville Soccer Club to form the largest travel & Rec-Plus programs in the state of Indiana, Indy Premier.  Nick has spent the last seven years in various roles at Indy Premier including coaching, Technical Director, and the Director of Operations.       

Coach Swaim has a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Management and Physical Education  from IUPUI.  Nick has also earned his United States Soccer Federation (USSF) A license as well as a Premier Diploma from the National Soccer Coaches Associations of America (NSCAA / United Soccer Coaches) and his Director of Coaching Diploma.

“I am extremely excited to be given the opportunity to work with Jr Irish Soccer Club and their many wonderful families. I'm looking forward to getting to work right away,” said new DOC Nick Swaim. “My hope is to continue on with the high standard Ken Nuber has set for the club, it's families and it's coaching staff. I am very thankful to have earned this opportunity and look forward to becoming a part of the Jr Irish family and the community”.

The Jr. Irish Soccer Club has been serving the soccer community since 1977 and provides the highest level of coaching and player development in a competitive and fun atmosphere.
