LIONSHEAD SPECIALTY TIRE AND WHEEL PARTNERS WITH JR. IRISH

South Bend, Indiana

The Jr. Irish Soccer Club is pleased to announce a new partnership with Lionshead Specialty Tire & Wheel, LLC.   This new relationship will support the Jr. Irish travel soccer club in its mission to focus on the overall development of the player by creating a technical skill set that will allow the player to grow in their tactical knowledge, as well as learn important life skills such as discipline, commitment, and sportsmanship.  

Lionshead will provide Jr. Irish with an annual sponsorship gift that will support the Club’s infrastructure and player development.  The Lionshead logo and name will also be incorporated into the Jr. Irish marketing platforms, including: the player uniform kits (starting in the Fall of 2018), the Jr. Irish website, field signage and the Annual Memorial Day Invitational (MDI) Tournament.

Lionshead Specialty Tire & Wheel, LLC was established in 1993 and is a privately held business owned by Gary Graham and Galen Miller.  The company is an original equipment manufacturer supplier to the trailer industry with their world headquarters located in Goshen, Indiana, and additional plants located in:Waxahachie, Texas; Mountain Home, Idaho; Norwood Young America, Minnesota; Denton, North Carolina and  Qingdao, China.

Graham commented on the commitment to the area and to the development of our young people.

“Galen and I share an extra-ordinary passion and commitment to the communities we serve.  Lionshead has primarily focused its local charitable support in areas of youth leadership and development, and we are very pleased to continue this with our association with the Jr. Irish Soccer Club.”

He added that the Lionshead commitment to the community goes well beyond the soccer field.  

“We are proud to be involved with Jr. Irish, as well as a significant supporter of many other area youth-based organizations, including the Goshen Boys & Girls Club, Big Brothers Big Sisters of St. Joseph County, Elkhart County 4 -H Fair, Startup Moxie (formerly St. Joe CEO), and Penn High School through the sponsorship of the Lionshead Soccer Field.” 

Ken Nuber, Executive Director and Director of Coaching for the Jr. Irish Soccer Club, sees the Lionshead relationship as a benefit to the entire soccer community and the community at large.

“This is a great opportunity for all of our players, and this gift will allow us to enhance what we offer.  The Graham’s have been leaders in the soccer community for years, and we appreciate their support and confidence in the Jr. Irish mission.  Lionshead shares our vision of not only developing great soccer players, but great young men and women.”

Jr. Irish Board of Directors President Matt Hague is excited about the opportunities the Lionshead gift presents.

The Jr. Irish Soccer Club has been serving the soccer community since 1977.
