Jr. Irish is pleased to announce that Jay Freymiller has been named as the new Youth Technical Director.
"We are very lucky to have such a great person and dedicated coach in the Club", says Jr. Irish Executive Director Ken Nuber.
"Jay has embraced the Club 's vision on player development and our young players are really going to thrive under his guidance."
The Youth Technical Director serves as the Academy Director for the 8U - 10U program. Jay will work with the Director of Coaching to implement the curriculum and make any necessary changes in the best interest of the players. The Academy focuses on building the technical skill set that allows players to grow and be successful players down the road. The philosophy of “Success over Results” means the Club and Coaches will teach and play the game the right way for developing players and not with the purpose of winning games. Winning comes later when players have the proper skill set and confidence. Jay will also be actively involved with other teams as well as MSA Academy.
Jay currently holds a United State Soccer Federation National C license and will be attempting his National B license soon. He has experience with both high school and college teams and recently coached the Jr. Irish 01 Premier and Jr. Irish 02 Premier II teams.
